Since 1978 we have exclusively served the needs of Denture Patients and patients needing to have their natural teeth removed for the purpose of being fitted for dentures.
For the patient who is already a denture wearer, we make new and replacement dentures of all ranges of quality and costs (refer to our section on Fees). We also provide dental implant services for people who need additional stability and retention for their dentures -- refer to our section on Implant Retained Dentures [IRD's].
For people whose natural teeth are no longer serviceable or are non-treatable and need to transition into dentures we simplify the seemingly complex process of the necessary dental extractions and surgery in a quick, efficient and cost saving process.
Many of our patients are seeking an alternative opinion as to how to treat their condition more economically than other more complex and more costly treatments that have been proposed to them. We counsel with our patients to find the best solution for their dental treatment needs often we can help people save some or all of their teeth if their preference and condition warrants -- other times extractions/surgery and dentures is the best treatment. Frequently we find a more affordable alternative treatment that will save the best of their teeth and remove the rest and fit them with dentures or partial dentures.
We have our own in-office laboratory, and offer denture and partial denture services to our patients on a quick and economical basis. Where most conventional Dental Offices take weeks or even months to provide a denture, we can do it easily within two weeks, and most of our cases can be completed in one week. We can even provide one-day, and same-day, dentures for special circumstances on a pre-arranged basis.
We have treated denture patients exclusively since our inception and thats all we do -- we definitely understand denture patients and the special requirements of denture wearers. Since our inception we have treated over 15,000 denture patients and over 5,000 denture surgical cases -- establishing our own proprietary system that is quick, effective, and affordable.
Surgical Dentures:
Our primary service is directed toward those patients whose natural dentition has failed or is not restorable for various reasons. We have developed our treatment system so that we can perform all the requisite surgical services in one appointment and insert the initial dentures immediately upon completion of the extractions and dental surgery procedures --- hence the common name: Immediate Dentures for the surgical denture.
It is our firm opinion that the surgical denture (Immediate Denture) should only serve the purposes of a surgical splint and as a transitional denture bridging the time gap between the surgical session and the full completion of the healing and stabilization process (9 to 12 months). It is due to significant ridges changes as a result of the surgery and then the shrinkage after surgery that renders the surgical denture serviceable for only the healing and stabilization period of up to the first year.
We rarely recommend using the surgical denture be considered as your extended use denture, because of those significant changes of your ridges. This is why we offer our surgical dentures at discounted fees -- and with larger surgical cases, the surgical dentures may be provided without cost --- thats right, they can be FREE!
What most dental offices don’t tell you:
Most general dental offices may also treat the surgical denture patient. First they will make a regular denture, and then will refer the patient to an Oral Surgeon to perform your extractions and surgery. Unfortunately this creates a duplication of effort, overlapping treatment, more appointments, and additional cost for the patient. In this scenario, the surgical denture is not provided at a reduced fee but rather at a standard or even expanded denture fee. In these instances, the patient cannot justify throwing away their immediate denture after the healing period, as it cost too much and they want to get more use from it, so they have it relined and end up with a bulky denture that does not relate to the ridges and to each other as well as if a new denture was made. Simply making a more expensive surgical denture does nothing to make it more suitable for use after the effects of the healing process.
A more efficient treatment occurs when the same doctor performs both treatments, resulting in reduced treatment episodes and reduced overall cost of treatment.
The Advantage we offer:
Because we provide both the services of making the dentures and performing the pre-denture surgery, we eliminate duplication of treatment and extra treatment sessions. Increased efficiency results in the reduced costs compared to the conventional dental office system.
Your treatment is accomplished with fewer treatment sessions this efficiency of effort results in less overall cost to the patient. With our own in-office laboratory, we can make the surgical denture at substantial reduction of cost, and in instances of large surgical cases offer the surgical denture at no cost as a service for our patients. It is the same standard of denture as any other denture --- remember it is the effect of the healing process that invalidates the surgical denture from being suitable for continued use after stabilization from healing.
With a significantly reduced fee --- or even FREE in certain cases (Southside Office only) --surgical denture, the immediate denture patient can justify discarding the surgical denture and can apply the cost savings to the follow-up denture to be made after full effects of healing.
